Aishath Nahidha started her career as a teacher specializing in Physics and Maths after finishing school. However, while teaching, Nahidha discovered her interest in the technological tools used for teaching, which led her to explore the possibilities of a career in the tech industry. She realized that her passion lay in creating new things like games, websites, simulations, and apps. Taking a risk by changing careers paid off immensely for Nahidha, and she describes it as the best decision she ever made. Nahidha wishes she had been introduced to the tech field earlier and is now an advocate for young women to join the field. She joined Women in Tech Maldives to inspire young women to follow their passions and let them know that women can work and find success in the tech industry. Nahidha aspires to be a success story of a woman in the tech industry and is excited about her future career. She looks forward to creating amazing things in the tech industry and can't wait to see what the future holds.
