Shazna is a software engineer with a master's degree in software engineering from the prestigious Australian National University. She has achieved significant milestones in the field, including working on the VEYO employment information management system, still used by The President's Office and Civil Service Commission today. Shazna has also worked on other notable information systems, such as BOLI, ISLES, and SALLA. Currently, Shazna serves as the Deputy Director General, IT at The President's office, where she manages and oversees all aspects of the organization's software development. She is also a co-founder and director of Alfisoft Pvt. Ltd., a company specializing in software solutions. She is a member of Women in Tech Maldives, a non-profit organization that empowers women in the technology industry, and has held their executive board position in 2019. As a hobby, Shazna creates digital designs for parties and functions, and she recently published the Dhivehi book series "Lara Aman," a translation of an English book series for young readers.
