Fathimath Zameela is an experienced IT Solutions Expert who has been working in the field for over 16 years, specialized in software development and database management. She joined the National Centre of Information Technology early on in her career, where she was part of the first integral team involved in developing e-government initiatives. The team was instrumental in establishing the Government Network of Maldives, along with developing several government applications such as GEMS, XPAT that are still in use today. Later on she worked in Maldives Inland Revenue Authority as a Manager in Software Development Division, leading the team in projects such as the implementation of SAP Tax and Revenue System and MIRAconnect. She is now back at NCIT as a Lead Software Engineer, overseeing the delivery of the next phase of e-government initiatives. She also contributes to the community as a Member of Women in Tech Maldives. She holds a Masters Degree in Information Technology Management from Staffordshire University, UK.
