Roza Ibrahim

Roza Ibrahim is a higher education professional with extensive experience in instructional designing for e-learning. She currently leads and trains at the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE) in The Maldives National University (MNU), where she is also the Acting Head. Roza has been advocating for e-learning since 2010, when she was part of the team that implemented blended learning in Maldives through the online learning management system, Moodle named as GEM (Gateway to E-learning at MNU). She holds a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Teaching from La Trobe University, Australia, and a Master's degree in Higher Education in E-learning from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. Roza is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the area of augmented reality in education at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, Malaysia. She has published several papers in various journals and presented her research findings in multiple conferences in Maldives, India, and Malaysia. Roza was honored with the President's National Award for Special Achievement in 2016.
